PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL TRANSFER ASSEMBLY

Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length

(1) Using SST, install the transfer assembly to the continuously variable transaxle assembly with the 8 nuts.

SST: 09729-00170

Torque:

Specified Tightening Torque :

68.6 N·m {700 kgf·cm, 51 ft·lbf}

HINT:

  • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

  • When using SST (fulcrum length of 200 mm (7.87 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 255 mm (10.04 in.)): 38.4 N*m (392 kgf*cm, 28 ft.*lbf)
