Toyota Corolla Cross: Inspection

INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY LH (for Bulb Type Clearance Light)

(a) Check that the rear combination light lens and body LH.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear combination light lens and body LH and check that the light comes on.

OK:

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

S3-1 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S3-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Stop light comes on

S3-4 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S3-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Turn signal light comes on

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light lens and body LH.

2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY RH (for Bulb Type Clearance Light)

(a) Check that the rear combination light lens and body RH.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear combination light lens and body RH and check that the light comes on.

OK:

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

S6-1 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S6-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Stop light comes on

S6-4 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S6-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Turn signal light comes on

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light lens and body RH.

3. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY LH (for LED Type Clearance Light)

(a) Check that the rear combination light lens and body LH.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear combination light lens and body LH and check that the light comes on.

OK:

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

S14-1 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S14-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Stop light comes on

S14-2 (TL) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S14-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Tail light comes on

S14-4 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S14-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Turn signal light comes on

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light lens and body LH.

4. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY RH (for LED Type Clearance Light)

(a) Check that the rear combination light lens and body RH.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear combination light lens and body RH and check that the light comes on.

OK:

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

S15-1 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S15-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Stop light comes on

S15-2 (TL) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S15-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Tail light comes on

S15-4 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

S15-3 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Turn signal light comes on

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light lens and body RH.
