INITIALIZATION
STEERING SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
(a) for Gasoline Model:
Start the engine.
(b) for HEV Model:
Start the hybrid control system.
(c) Drive the vehicle straight ahead at 15 km/h (10 mph) or more
for 1 second or more.
(d) Turn the ignition switch off.

been completed.

DESCRIPTION
The 4WD ECU assembly receives signals from the steering sensor, and thereby detects
the steering angle of the steering wheel assembly to determine when the vehicle
is turning.
When an abnormal signal is received from the steering sensor, the 4WD ECU assembly
stores DTC C1297.
