1. INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Pushed (ON)

Below 1 Ω

5 (IG) - 2 (E)

Not pushed (OFF)

10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.

(b) Check that the switch illuminates.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch and check that the switch illuminates.

OK:

Measurement Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → 6 (ILL+)

Battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)

Illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.
