  • Insert the door control transmitter assembly into the ignition key cylinder.
  • *: Only output while a malfunction is present.

NOTICE:

  • If the transponder key ECU assembly or a door control transmitter assembly is replaced, refer to Registration.

  • After repair, confirm that no DTCs are output by performing "DTC Output Confirmation Operation".

PROCEDURE

1.

CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Body Electrical > Immobiliser > Clear DTCs

CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Perform "DTC Output Confirmation Operation" procedure.

(b) Check for DTCs.

Body Electrical > Immobiliser > Trouble Codes

HINT:

If DTC B2795 is stored, check for DTCs with the next door control transmitter assembly after clearing the DTCs.

OK:

DTC B2795 is not output.

CHECK OPERATION (IG ON)

(a) Check that the ignition switch can be turned to ON using the door control transmitter assembly for which the DTC was stored.

REPLACE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER ASSEMBLY THAT DTC IS OUTPUT

4.

REREGISTRATION

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Body Electrical > Immobiliser > Clear DTCs

(b) Reregister the key ID code with the transponder key ECU assembly.

OK:

Registration procedure can be completed.
