PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR PULLEY WITH CLUTCH

T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench

(1) Secure the generator assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

(2) Temporarily install a new generator pulley with clutch to the rotor shaft.

(3) Set SST and a T50 "TORX" socket wrench as shown in the illustration.

SST: 09820-30010

*c	T50 "TORX" Socket Wrench	-	-

(1) While holding SST in place, rotate the T50 "TORX" socket wrench counterclockwise, and install the generator pulley with clutch.

Torque:

79 N·m {806 kgf·cm, 58 ft·lbf}

NOTICE:

Check that the generator assembly is secured in the vise tightly.

(2) Remove SST and the T50 "TORX" socket wrench from the generator pulley with clutch.

(3) Check that the generator pulley with clutch rotates smoothly.

(4) Remove the generator assembly from the vise.
