INITIALIZATION
NOTICE:
- Make sure to perform the necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration,
initialization, or registration) after parts related to the cable has been disconnected
from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When parts related to the charging system have been removed/installed
or replaced:

CHARGING SYSTEM PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
- Check that the battery cables are connected to the correct terminals.
- Disconnect the battery cables when the battery is given a quick charge.
- Do not perform tests with a high voltage insulation resistance tester.
- Never disconnect the battery cables while the engine is running.
- Check that the charging cable nuts are tightened on terminal B of the generator
assembly and on the No. 1 engine room relay block.

The electric parking brake may still operate up to 20 seconds after
the ignition switch is turned off. Before disconnecting connectors or fuses,
turn the ignition switch off and wait 20 seconds or more.

CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). Failure
to carry out service operations in the correct sequence could cause the SRS to unexpectedly
deploy during servicing. This may cause a serious accident.
