PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NSS)

Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE

-

-

(1) Coat a new O-ring with Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE and install it to the transmission revolution sensor (NSS).

NOTICE:

Ensure that the O-ring is not twisted.

(2) Install the transmission revolution sensor (NSS) to the transaxle case sub-assembly with the bolt.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the O-ring.

Torque:

5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf}

(3) Connect the transmission revolution sensor (NSS) connector.
