1. INSPECT LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the operation.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage and check the operation of the low pitched horn assembly according to the table below.

If the result is not as specified, replace the low pitched horn assembly. |

1. INSPECT HORN RELAY ASSEMBLY (a) Check the resistance.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Extend the shoulder belt so
that it comes fully over the
shoulder, but does not come
into contact with the neck or
slide off the shoulder.
Position the lap belt as low as
possible over the hips.
Adjust the position of the
seatback. Sit up straight and
well back in the seat.
Do not twist
INSPECTION PROCEDURE 1. INSPECT NO. 1 VALVE ROCKER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Turn the roller by hand to check that it turns smoothly. HINT:
If the roller does not turn smoothly, replace the No. 1 valve rocker arm sub-assembly.
2. INSPECT VALVE LASH ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
