INSPECTION
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT REAR DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Check that there is no excessive play in the radial direction of
the outboard joint.
|
|
(b) Check that the inboard joint slides smoothly in the thrust direction.
(c) Check that there is no excessive play in the radial direction of the inboard
joint.
(d) Check the boots for damage.
|
(e) Check whether each drive shaft dimension (A) is within specification.
Dimension (A):

for LH Side

735.6 to 745.6 mm (2.41 to 2.45 ft.)

for RH Side
|
720.1 to 730.1 mm (2.36 to 2.39 ft.)
|
NOTICE:
Keep the drive shaft assembly level during inspection.

DTC SUMMARY MALFUNCTION DESCRIPTION The hybrid vehicle control ECU detects a stuck closed malfunction of a system main relay on the HV battery negative side.
The cause of this malfunction may be one of the following: Inverter voltage sensor (VH) internal circuit malfunction
