1. INSPECT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (a) Operate the washer nozzle sub-assemblies and check the position that the washer fluid contacts the windshield.
Standard: Washer fluid contacts the windshield in the areas shown in the illustration.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE 1. INSPECT NO. 1 VALVE ROCKER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Turn the roller by hand to check that it turns smoothly. HINT:
If the roller does not turn smoothly, replace the No. 1 valve rocker arm sub-assembly.
