1. INSPECT TORQUE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Inspect the one-way clutch. Press on the splines of the stator with a finger
and rotate it. Check that it rotates smoot

Lower the back door using a
back door handle, and then
push the back door from the outside
to close it.
Be careful not to pull the back
door sideways when using a
handle.

When troubleshooting OBD II (On-Board Diagnostics) vehicles, the GTS (complying with SAE J1978) must be connected to the DLC3 (Data Link Connector 3) of the vehicle. Various data in the vehicle's ECM (Engine Control Module) can be then read.
