DESCRIPTION
Using the current from the TCM, the shift solenoid valve SL2 controls the C2
clutch pressure in accordance with the requested shift mode.
When the TCM requests the shift mode to be changed to belt mode, the C2 clutch
is engaged and the input torque is transmitted to the output shaf
ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT CAM TIMING CONTROL MOTOR WITH EDU ASSEMBLY (a) Check Rotation Direction Signal:
(1) Connect the GTS to the DLC3. (2) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(3) Turn the GTS on. (4) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / VVT-iE Motor Dir
