DESCRIPTION
(a) Blind spot monitor data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system
seems to be malfunctioning, use the GTS to check for malfunctions and to perform
repairs.

DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION
(a) When the system is malfunctioning or is temporarily unavailable
and cannot be used, a notification is displayed on the multi-information display
to notify the driver.

Opening the hood

DESCRIPTION
The 4WD ECU assembly receives signals from the steering sensor, and thereby detects
the steering angle of the steering wheel assembly to determine when the vehicle
is turning.
When an abnormal signal is received from the steering sensor, the 4WD ECU assembly
stores DTC C1297.
