- The rack and pinion power steering gear assembly stores a DTC when it detects
a malfunction in the ECU and power steering system circuit.
CHECK DLC3
(a) Check the DLC3.

CHECK WARNING LIGHT
(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON and check the EPS warning light.
OK:
Illuminates the EPS warning light
HINT:
If the EPS warning light does not illuminate, check the EPS warning light circuit.
