INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) for LH Belt:

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection

Condition

Specified Condition

O85-5(LBR+) - O85-4(LBR-)

Rear LH seat belt unfastened

Below 1 Ω

Rear LH seat belt fastened

10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner with center belt assembly.

(b) for Center Belt:

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection

Condition

Specified Condition

O86-1(CBR+) - O86-2(CBR-)

Rear center seat belt unfastened

Below 1 Ω

Rear center seat belt fastened

10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner with center belt assembly.
